I. Basic Functional Parameters (Design Premise)

Medium Information

  • Medium name (e.g., water, gasoline, compressed air, corrosive chemicals)
  • Medium temperature (design temperature , specify whether it is normal/low/high temperature condition)
  • Medium properties (whether it is flammable, explosive, toxic, corrosive, prone to crystallization/polymerization)
  • Medium composition (e.g., component ratio of mixed gas, concentration of liquid)

Vessel Parameters

  • Vessel type (e.g., cylindrical, spherical, square, vertical/horizontal)
  • Design pressure (specify whether it is gauge pressure/absolute pressure, unit: MPa)
  • Design volume (effective volume, unit: or L)
  • Nominal diameter (nominal diameter of the vessel, unit: mm)
  • Total height (overall height of the vessel, including supports, flanges, etc.)

II. Structural and Installation Parameters (Core of Design)

Structural Form

  • Head type (e.g., elliptical head, dished head, conical head)
  • Support type (e.g., vertical support, horizontal support, saddle support)
  • Flange specification (e.g., nominal diameter , nominal pressure , sealing surface type)
  • Nozzle quantity and specification (nozzle diameter , material, layout position)
  • Manhole/handhole size (nominal diameter, quantity, position)
  • Accessory configuration (e.g., pressure gauge connection, safety valve connection, level gauge connection)

Installation Requirements

  • Installation location (e.g., indoor/outdoor, ground/mounted)
  • Environmental conditions (e.g., temperature, humidity, corrosive environment)
  • Foundation dimensions (e.g., support spacing, foundation load capacity, embedded part position)
  • Transportation and lifting requirements (e.g., lifting point position, maximum allowable weight)

III. Material and Standard Parameters (Compliance Basis)

Material Requirements

  • Main material grade (e.g., Q235B, 16MnR, 304 stainless steel)
  • Material specification (e.g., steel plate thickness, steel pipe outer diameter, flange material)
  • Material properties (e.g., yield strength , tensile strength , elongation)
  • Material standard (e.g., GB/T 700, GB/T 1591)

Design Standards

  • Executive standards (e.g., GB 150, ASME BPVC, EN 13445)
  • Design codes (e.g., pressure vessel design code, welding code)

IV. Safety and Performance Parameters (Safety Assurance)

Safety Accessories

  • Safety valve specification (set pressure, discharge capacity, connection size)
  • Pressure gauge range (shall be 1.5~3 times the design pressure)

Performance Requirements

  • Delivery time (e.g., design cycle, manufacturing cycle, acceptance time)
  • Delivery documents (e.g., design drawings, calculation reports, inspection reports)
