Product Definition and Structural Characteristics
The vertical floating roof storage tank is based on the vertical cylindrical steel tank and is equipped with a floating roof that rises and falls with the liquid level. It is mainly divided into two types: external floating roof and internal floating roof. The floating roof is equipped with a sealing system, which can minimize the evaporation and leakage of the medium. The tank body is manufactured using standard steel plates and is equipped with matching accessories, conforming to standards such as GB 50128 and API 650.
Applicable Materials and Temperature Range
Selection of Primary Materials (Customizable)
The primary materials are carbon structural steels, such as Q235B and Q345R. For corrosive environments, we can customize stainless steel (304/316L), composite steel plates, or apply anti-corrosion treatments. Floating roof materials can also be customized.
Operating Temperature Range (Customizable)
The standard operating temperature range is -20°C to 150°C. For high-temperature or low-temperature environments, we can customize insulation, heat tracing, or cold insulation structures according to customer requirements.
