1. Product Scope and Standards

1.1 Designed and manufactured in accordance with “Technical Code for Engineering of Buried Steel-FRP Double-Wall Oil Tanks at Service Stations” (SH/T 3178-2015) and “Buried Steel-Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastic Double-Wall Oil Storage Tanks” (JC/T 2286-2014), suitable for industrial oil depots, service stations, and other facilities handling fuel oil.

1.2 Scope: Operates at atmospheric pressure within a temperature range of -19°C to 200°C, intended for the storage of fuel oil (such as diesel, gasoline, etc.).

2. Structural Features of Double-Wall Oil Tanks

2.1 Steel-FRP Double-Layer Structure: A specialized processing method is applied between the inner steel shell and the glass fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) layer to create a 0.1mm interstitial gap. In the event of an inner shell leak, this design ensures that any contained hazardous substance flows only within this gap, preventing immediate release and environmental contamination.

2.2 Inner Layer: Manufactured similarly to single-wall tanks using high-quality steel plates, strictly adhering to the “Steel Welded Atmospheric Pressure Vessels” standard. The steel plates meet specified thickness requirements, ensuring extended service life.

2.3 Outer Layer: Consists of a glass fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) layer with a thickness exceeding 2.5mm, offering excellent corrosion resistance and electrical erosion resistance.

2.4 Interstitial Space: Utilizing proprietary process technology, a consistent 0.1mm gap is maintained between the two layers, fundamentally eliminating potential safety hazards.
