Product Structure
Prefabricated insulated vertical storage tank consists of a main steel shell, an external insulation layer, a protective jacket, and standard fittings.
Common fittings include manholes, level gauges, vent valves, and sampling ports. The design complies with international standards such as API 650 and GB 50128, ensuring stable operation and a long service life.
Material Specifications
High efficiency thermal insulated vertical storage tank shell is typically made of carbon steel grades Q235B or Q345R for general-purpose media storage.
For corrosive media, 304 or 316L stainless steel may be selected. The insulation layer typically uses rock wool, glass wool, polyurethane foam, or phenolic foam, offering excellent thermal insulation and fire resistance. The insulation layer is usually covered with aluminum or galvanized steel sheets for protection.
Operating Temperature Range
The operating temperature range for standard insulated tanks is -40°C to 200°C.
For low-temperature applications, high-performance cryogenic insulation materials are used to maintain a stable low-temperature environment. For high-temperature media, heat-resistant insulation materials and optional trace heating systems can be installed to prevent cooling and solidification.
